Data We Process
Laundry Loop does not require account creation and does not collect personal profile information. The app processes and stores app settings (such as default washer duration, default dryer duration, reminder lead time, and haptics preference), recent cycle presets (such as cycle type, duration, and last-used timestamp), and active cycle snapshot data (such as timer state and timestamps needed to run, restore, and display your active cycle). To support widgets, relevant timer snapshot data is stored in an Apple app group container shared between the Watch app and its widget extension.
Permissions
Laundry Loop may request permission to send local notifications so you can receive cycle completion and reminder alerts. Notification permission is optional, and you can enable or disable notifications at any time in your Apple device settings. Laundry Loop does not request permissions for contacts, location, camera, microphone, photos, or advertising tracking.
Data Sharing, Tracking, and Third Parties
Laundry Loop is designed to run locally on device. No personal account is required, no cloud sync is used, and no backend service is used to process your app data. No third-party analytics SDKs or ad SDKs are used for tracking behavior. Laundry Loop does not use App Tracking Transparency (ATT) to track you across apps or websites, does not use IDFA for advertising or cross-app tracking, and does not sell or share personal data with data brokers or advertisers.
Data Retention and Your Controls
Because Laundry Loop stores data locally, your data remains on your device unless you remove it. You can control your data by disabling notifications in system settings and/or removing app data by uninstalling the app (and associated widget/app data, as managed by Apple platform behavior).
Children's Privacy
Laundry Loop is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect app updates, legal requirements, or operational changes. When we update this policy, we will revise the "Effective date" at the top.
