Who We Are
Peck Study Timer (by viennci.dev) is a focus and study timer app.
Data We Collect
Peck is offline-first. We do not collect your app data into developer-controlled servers. Data used by the app includes focus session history such as topic (optional), started time, duration, completion status, and created timestamp, as well as reminder settings stored on device such as reminder enabled or disabled state, reminder time, and selected reminder days.
What We Do Not Collect
We do not collect or require account registration data, advertising identifiers for ad tracking, location data, contacts, photos, microphone data, camera data, or third-party analytics SDK event tracking.
How We Use Data
We use your data only to run app features such as focus sessions, history, and reminders, to show your past sessions and progress inside the app, and to schedule local reminder notifications when you enable them.
Storage and Sync
App data is stored on your device using SwiftData. Session data syncs automatically through Apple's private CloudKit database associated with your Apple account when iCloud is available and enabled on your device. We do not run our own backend server to store your session or reminder data.
Notifications
Reminders are permission-gated. Notifications are scheduled only if you grant permission and enable reminders.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your data, share data with ad networks, or send your app data to our own backend servers. Apple infrastructure, including iCloud, CloudKit, and notification delivery services, may process data required to operate app functionality.
Retention and Deletion
There is no dedicated in-app deletion control in this release. Uninstalling the app removes local app data on your device. iCloud-synced data is managed through Apple iCloud account and device controls.
Regional Availability
Peck Study Timer is not offered in EU countries in this release due to legal scope.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy over time. The updated version will show a revised effective date.
